Wound Healing
The Wound Healing Center at West Houston Medical Center takes over when you need special care for a wound to completely heal.
Our experienced team of doctors and nurses specially trained in the art and science of complex would care. Using research and proven techniques, they provide healing and relief for patients who thought their wounds would never heal or would lead to amputation.
The types of wounds treated include:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Spider bites
- Surgical and traumatic wounds and minor burns
- Pressure ulcers
- Venous insufficiency ulcers
- Arterial or ischemic wounds
- Other non-healing wounds
Located on the first floor of the Boulevard Medical Plaza building, the Wound Healing department offers easy wheelchair and stretcher access, and plenty of parking. Some patients need a referral from their doctor to be seen in our clinic.
