Breastfeeding Class

$15 per mother
Third Tuesday of Every Month from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Get information on the anatomy and physiology of the breast during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and techniques to help you begin breastfeeding. Expression, storage of breast milk and breastfeeding after you return to work are discussed. Registration required. For details, call 281-588-8065.

Stroke Survivors Group

Saturdays, 10:30 am to 12 pm

The West Houston Stroke Survivors Group offers informal camaraderie and a place to share experiences and reliable healthcare information for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Licensed social worker Kathy Carrico leads the group. Please call before attending a first meeting since the group goes out sometimes for conferences, and other stroke related activities. When “at home” the group meets in the Medical Office Building (Boulevard Medical Plaza) behind the hospital at 12606 West Houston Center Blvd., Suite 180. For details, call 281-588-8517.
